Juanita (Neadie) Louise Burns McKinney, 60, Green Co., KY (1960-2020)

The funeral services for Juanita "Neadie" Louise Burns McKinney will be conducted at NoonCT on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the McKinney Family Cemetery in Green County. Bro. Twyman Davis and Bro. Joey Hicks officiating.

Walk through visitation is requested after 9amCT on Saturday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service. Due to Covid-19, please continue to practice social distancing.



Juanita "Neadie" Louise Burns McKinney of Green County, daughter of Laveria Curry Brandenburg of Greensburg, and the late Clarence Burns, was born on Saturday, January 16, 1960 in Bloomington, Illinois and departed this life on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at her home. She was 60 years, 6 months, and 27 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a registered nurse.

She united in marriage to David Allen McKinney on March 4, 1988 who preceded her in death on February 9, 2020.

Besides her mother, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Darla and Todd Brown of Greensburg, and Cathy and Josh Cross of Columbia; six grandchildren: Tyler Burton of Paducah, Kaleb Bowers of Texas, Lillian Brown, Kevin Brown both of Greensburg, Chloe Cross and Elijah Cross both of Columbia; a sister and two brothers: Teresa Harlow, Gary Brandenburg both of Greensburg, and Willard Brandenburg, Jr. of Louisiana; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. McKinney was also preceded in death by a daughter: Karla Fay Burton on August 11, 2014.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family burial expenses, which can be made at the funeral home.

Pallbearers: Brandon McKibben, Steven Blythe, Daniel Tucker,, Blake Brandenburg, Jackie Jewell, Todd Anderson.
