Pursuit Pulaski to Casey to Russell results in arrest From Mary Ellis Brandon S. Steele, age 33, of Wilson Ridge Road, Science Hill, Kentucky, was arrested following a pursuit that started in Pulaski County on West Highway 80, continued into Casey County on KY 80 and then into Russell County where he was stopped by Russell County Sheriff's Deputies and taken into custody without further incident. Mr. Steele was operating a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle. On July 14, 2020, in the early morning hours, Pulaski County Deputy Nick Barber charged Mr. Steele with: Charge 1: Fleeing or Evading Police, 2nd Degree (Motor Vehicle) Charge 2: Disregarding Traffic Controlled Device-Traffic Light Charge 3: Reckless Driving Charge 4: Wanton Endangerment-2nd Degree-Police Officer Russell County Sheriff's Deputy, John Wine charged Mr. Steele with: Charge 1: Fleeing or Evading Police, 2nd Degree (Motor Vehicle) Charge 2: Wanton Endangerment - 1st Degree - Police Officer Charge 3: Criminal Mischief - 3rd Degree Charge 4: Improper Registration Plate Russell County Sheriff's Deputy, John Wine, also served the following warrants on Brandon Steele for: * Pulaski County Circuit Court Warrant for a Probation Violation. This charge stems from an investigation that Deputy Zach Mayfield did where Mr. Steele was arrested on June 24, 2019, for Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree (Methamphetamine).
