By Christopher Coombs

Patrick Coo is set to join the Lindsey Wilson cycling team for the 2020-21 season, head coach Josh Patton announced on Thursday.

Coo joins the Blue Raiders and will focus on BMX, Downhill and Dual Slalom disciplines. He is an accomplished BMX racer having podiums at major events in the United States and Southeast Asia. Patrick represents the Philippines and competes internationally while living in Southern California.

"Patrick is a unique rider who has had amazing opportunities to be coached by a few of the best racers in history, and he's getting to represent the Philippines which is helping him work towards his Olympic dream," Patton said. "Pat is a fast rider, and he's got endless amounts of skills on the bike. I'm looking forward to what he does with his time at LWC".

While at Lindsey Wilson Coo plans on majoring in nursing.
