Adair Co. 4-H Grab & Go Educational Kit announcement

By Tony Rose, Adair County Extension Agent for 4-H Youth Development
Adair County Extension Service

First, we want to thank all those who have participated in the Grab & Go Educational Kits. They have been a big hit. We would also love to see more pictures of the youth using the kits. We are planning to do the weekly kits for two more weeks.

When school is officially out, we are going to switch how we do the kits. After the next two weeks, we will start doing educational kits around 4-H projects that can be entered in the Project Fair at the end of July.

The first sign up will be for several kits that will be available in the middle to end of May. This is the same sign up that we posted last week, with an extended sign-up time frame, so if you have already signed up, there is no need to sign up again. These kits are for youth ages 9-18. We are doing sign-ups to make sure we have enough supplies, because we have to order many of the supplies that we do not have on hand.

We will continue to take sign-ups until Wednesday, May 6, 2020, for this first sign up. These kits will contain items to help complete the fair projects. Please complete this survey to sign up for kits: uky.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form.

Please visit the Adair County 4-H Fair website to get more detailed information about the projects listed in the survey. The website address is: http://adair.ca.uky.edu/content/county-state-fair.

We will also be doing educational kits around fair projects for Cloverbud age youth as well. This will be for youth ages 8 and under. We will have the first sign up for Cloverbuds on Thursday, May 7, 2020.
