Cardwell, McFall named to MSC Champions of Character Teams By Christopher Coombs Michelle Cardwell has been named to the 2020 Mid-South Conference Women's Track and Field Champions of Character Team, and Zach McFall of the Lindsey Wilson men's tennis was selected to the 2020 Mid-South Conference Men's Tennis Champions of Character Team, conference officials announced on Thursday. For the 2019-2020 athletic season, the MSC is recognizing a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. The student-athletes that are honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA. The 2020 Women's Track and Field Champions of Character Team includes Campbellsville's (Ky.) Jasmin Green, Cumberland's (Tenn.) Johanna Bangala, Cumberlands' (Ky.) Emily Allen, Georgetown's (Ky.) Charity Stoltz, Life's (Ga.) Jazmyne Hambrick, Lindsey Wilson's (Ky.) Michelle Cardwell, Pikeville's (Ky.) Verlecia Scarlett, Shawnee State's (Ohio) Jessica Price, and Thomas More's (Ky.) Natalie Kleier. The 2020 Men's Tennis Champions of Character team includes; Campbellsville's (Ky.) Alberto Perez, Cumberland's (Tenn.) Aleksandar Milosevic, Cumberlands' (Ky.) Martin Barbier, Georgetown's (Ky.) Isaac Mathis, Lindsey Wilson's (Ky.) Zach McFall, Pikeville's (Ky.) Juan Diego Medina, Shawnee State's (Ohio) Jacob Freeland and Thomas More's (Ky.) Wesley Smith.
