Paige Hackney, 49, Liberty, KY (1970-2020) Paige Hackney of Liberty passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020, in Casey County, Kentucky. She was 49 years old. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Online condolences at mckinneybrown.com. Born on November 19, 1970, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Charles (Dale) Henry Doeller, III, of Baltimore, MD, and Rebecca (William) Brouillet Kirk of Lutherville, MD. Paige was the current Assistant Principal at Hustonville Elementary School. She was previously the Principal at McKinney Elementary School and had been in the Lincoln County School System for 10+ years. Paige attained her Bachelor's degree of Arts at Johns Hopkins University. She attained her Master's degree at Hood College as a Reading Specialist. Paige also attended Asbury College where she was working toward her Rank 1 Principalship. She volunteered at the Danville Humane Society. Paige will be remembered as a loving wife and mother. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of twenty-two years, Clay Hackney of Liberty; a daughter, Bronwyn Hackney, 16 years old, of Liberty; a son, Fain Hackney, 14 years old, of Liberty; a sister, Bronwyn Carmel of Lutherville, MD; and a brother, Charles Henry Doeller IV of Baltimore, MD. Memorial contributions may be made payable to The Paige Hackney Scholarship Fund for her children and sent to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, P.O. Box 188, Liberty, KY 42539.
