Blanche Greer Kerr, 107, Campbellsville, KY (1912-2020) Blanche Greer Kerr of Campbellsville passed away on March 21, 2020. She was 107 years old. At the request of the Governor, services will be private. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery. Online condolences at parrottramsey.com. Blanche Greer Kerr of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Joel F. Greer and Sarah Catherine Eggers Greer, was born October 29, 1912 in Ashe County, North Carolina. She died Saturday, March 21, 2020 in Campbellsville. Age: 107 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Tommy Kerr December 24, 1937 and preceded her in death December 21, 1995. She was fond of all animals, especially cats, dogs and cows, which she named. Blanche is survived by two nieces and caregivers of Campbellsville: Sarah Davidson and Linda Wethington; another niece, Mary Nelson of Louisville; two nephews: Larry Garnett of Meade County, Kentucky and J. D. Bottoms of Galveston, Texas and many other nieces and nephews and relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters: Jess Greer, Kelly Greer, Walter Greer, Roby Greer, Edith "Lot" Fleming, Etta Garnett and Alice Bottoms. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Gideon Bibles or Taylor County SPCA and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
