Letter: Senior Shopping

Do you guys have information on shopping days and times for senior citizens? Walmart, Dollar Store, Any others? --Joe
Joe, thanks for writing. Below are a list of stores with some special hours. If any readers know of local stores with special hours, please use our Contact Form to send us a message.
  • Walmart: "Walmart is offering special shopping hours. From March 24 through April 28, Walmart stores will host an hour-long senior shopping event every Tuesday for customers aged 60 and older." (Walmart News)

  • Dollar General: "On March 17, we began senior store hours, which are designed to allow some of our most vulnerable neighbors the ability to shop during the first hour that our stores are open to avoid busier and more crowded shopping periods." (newscenter.dollargeneral.com)

  • Kroger: Kroger in Russell Springs and Kroger GRP in Campbellsville will be offering special hours Monday through Thursday, from 7am-8am local time, for folks 60 and over. (kroger.com)
