How to make the healing tea from purple flowers Regarding the possible healing properties of the little purple flowers, Joyce Coomer has provided the recipe for tea: If anyone is of a mind to make an infusion of fresh Dead Nettle leaves, clip them off the plant, rinse and place in a teapot. Add 1/2 cup of fresh leaves for every 8 ounces of boiling water. Steep for 10 minutes, then strain. Sweeten to taste with honey, stevia, or coconut sugar as desired and enjoy! If you have a tea strainer ball, you could put the leaves in it and wouldn't have to strain after steeping . . . might need to steep a little longer to get full flavor and benefits. I don't drink tea - am just questimating on this. - Joyce This story was posted on 2020-03-18 21:21:12
