Michael Todd Holland, 52, Green Co., KY (1967-2020)

Michael Todd Holland of Green County passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020. He was 52 years old.

The funeral services for Michael Todd Holland will be conducted at 1pmCT on Sunday, March 15, 2020, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Steve Willis, Bro. Garnett Wayne Davis, Bro. Cliffton Sullivan, and Bro. Todd Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Davenport Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 4:30pmCT until 8pmCT on Saturday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, and after 7amCT on Sunday until time of the funeral service.


Michael Todd Holland of Green County, Kentucky, son of William Edwin "Billy" Holland and Marion Gayle Davenport Holland of Green County, was born on Sunday, October 1, 1967 in Green County and departed this life on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Ladies Chapel United Methodist Church. He had formerly worked for Cox Interior, and he was a monitor for The Healing Place in Campbellsville, but Michaels favorite thing to do was farming.

Besides his parents, he is survived by aunts and uncles: Ollye Clark of Louisville, Carlos Davenport of Lyndon, Genevieve Buckner of Hodgenville, and Randy Davenport of Greensburg; extended family: Ed and Gretchen Rogers of Green County; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by grandparents: Edwin P. Holland and Evelyn Close Holland, Charles Edward "Horton" Davenport and Leora Frances Moran Davenport; great-grandparents: Dewey Holland and Lovie Cassidy Holland; an aunt and uncle: Hazel Cross and William Thomas Davenport; and a dear friend: Buford Akin.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family burial expenses, which can be made at the funeral home.
