CPD: Trafficking Arrest

Columbia Police Department officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle parked in front of a residence on Merchant Street behind Adair 911 on Saturday morning, March 14, 2020.

Upon arrival, officers observed a male passed out in the vehicle parked in roadway with his door open while it was still running.

After officers awoke subject and searched him they located two baggies on his person, one containing suspected marijuana spice and another with 25 grams of suspected methamphetamine and a large sum of cash.



Donald Brockman, 51, of Mannsville was charged with public intoxication, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and trafficking in a controlled substance methamphetamine; a class D felony.

Brockman spent less than two hours in jail before being allowed to sign himself out and was released.

Officers Evan Burton and Drew Conn were the responding officers.
