LWC Indoor Track & Field National Qualifiers announced By Christopher Coombs Four members of the Lindsey Wilson men and women's indoor track and field teams are set to compete at the 2020 NAIA Indoor National Championships as the national office announced the list of qualifiers on Friday. An even split of two male student-athletes and two female student-athletes will represent the Blue Raiders across six total events at the championships. Jaylun Wallace and Ahumad Williams represent the men's team while Safia Bright and Paige Pettell represent the women's squad. Wallace holds the 21st fastest time this season in the 400-meter dash with a mark of 49.75 seconds as he will compete against 25 other participants. Williams will compete in the 60-meter hurdles as he has the 22nd fastest time of 8.34 seconds. He will compete against 26 other competitors. Bright holds the second seed in both the 60 and 200-meter dash with times of 7.41 and 24.85 seconds, respectively. She will compete against 23 student-athletes in the 60 and 29 in the 200-meter dash. Pettell is set to compete as the No. eight-seed in the shot put with a mark of 13.73 meters and is the No. 24 seed in the weight throw with a distance of 15.91-meters. She competes against 21 athletes in the shot put and 28 during the weight throw.
