LWC Men's Golf finishes 4th at Ram Invitational By Christopher Coombs Memphis, TN - Lindsey Wilson men's golf fired a final round 291 today to finish in fourth place at the Ram Invitation held at Magnolia Grove Crossings Golf Course. The Blue Raiders finished with a three-round total 888 (300-297-291) at the par-72, 7,024-yard design. Lindsey Wilson began the day in fourth place in the eight-team field, and despite shooting their lowest score of the tournament would hold their position. Thomas (GA) ran away with the tournament with an 866 (290-287-289) to take first place by 16 strokes over William Carey (MS) who finished runner-up at 882 (293-297-292). Callum Blinkhorn -- who started his final round in 21st place -- shot a 4-under par 68 today to move 14 spots up the leaderboard into a tie for seventh place in the 44-man field. Blinkhorn carded five birdies and an eagle along with three bogies in his final round to close with a three-round total 219 (73-78-68). Janik Hawlitzky tied for 12 following his 73 stroke final round to move up two positions. He carded two birdies in the round - one on each side -- to end the tournament with a 222 (76-73-73). Quentin Malik tied for 15th with a 223 (75-72-76) while Callum Burns finished tied for 19th at 224 (76-74-74). Etienne Rensburg ended in a tie for 39th with a 244 (83-81-80). Thomas' Joe Bannan captured medalist honors with a 4-under par, 212 (70-71-71).
