LWC Bowling goes 0-2 at MSC Team Championships By Grace Blomstedt Bowling Green, KY - The Lindsey Wilson Men's and Women's bowling teams posted 0-2 records at the Mid-South Conference Team Championships on Friday at Southern Lanes in Bowling Green. The men's team finished the 14-team tournament in a tie for 10th place, while the women's team finished tied for 9th. The 13-seeded Blue Raiders dropped their first match against No. 4 Tennessee Wesleyan in a match that needed six games. Lindsey Wilson would trail 0-2 then make it 2-3 before Tennessee Wesleyan would take the game 4-2. LWC lost 151-175, 157-171, 232-207, 177-191, 139-137, 151-239. Lindsey Wilson then met No. 5 Bethel (TN) in the consolation bracket. The Blue Raiders would trail 1-2 but then tie it up at 2-2 before falling 2-4. Lindsey Wilson lost 170-199, 192-152, 107-189, 188-134, 159-180, 169-184. The Lindsey Wilson women's bowling team finished tied for 9th place with a 0-2 mark. The 11th-seeded Lady Blue Raiders lost their opening match of the bracket to Bethel (TN) in seven games. LWC was defeated by the Wildcats 147-200, 155-132, 186-170, 146-177, 159-212, 189-183, 145-201. The Blue Raiders met No. 9 seeded Midway (KY) in the consolation bracket.
