Dennie Alvin Taul, 64, Summersville, KY (1955-2020)

Dennie Alvin Taul of Summersville passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. He was 64 years old.

The funeral services for Dennie Alvin Taul will be conducted at NoonCT on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Jerry Noe officiating. Burial will follow in the Bennett Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 4pmCT until 8pmCT on Friday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT on Saturday until time of the funeral service.


Dennie Alvin Taul of Summersville, Kentucky, son of the late Redis Alvin Taul and Betty Faye Pace Taul, was born on Saturday, August 27, 1955 in Jeffersonville, Indiana and departed this life on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. He was 64 years, 5 months, and 23 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Brush Creek Baptist Church. He was an electrical assistant and contractor. He was an exceptional drummer and well known for his outstanding ability as a percussionist.

Survivors include his companion for 20 years, Ladonna Ward of Summersville; a son and daughter-in-law: Matthew Alvin and Crystal Taul of Indiana; two grandchildren: Tesla Taul and Cassandra Taul both of Indiana; a great-grandchild: Abel Washnock of Indiana; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Taul was also preceded in death by a brother: Kenny Wayne Taul.
