LWC Women's Indoor Track & Field at UIndy By Grace Blomstedt Indianapolis, IN - The Lindsey Wilson women's indoor track and field team competed at the UIndy Team Invite and DePauw Invite on Saturday. Leading the way for the Blue Raiders at the UIndy Invite was senior Paige Pettell. The Vine Grove, KY, native notched second-place in the shot put with a national B standard mark of 13.38-meters. She later threw for 15.71-meters in the weight throw to secure third-place. De'jah Smith also cracked the top-10 in the weight throw, earning sixth-place after launching it 14.91 meters. Tatiana Williams jumped for a mark of 10.76 meters in the triple jump for fourth-place. In the 800-meter race, Kirsten Crepps ran for a time of 2 minutes and 38.6 seconds to place ninth. Dezare Jackson placed 11th, recording a time of 2:40.33. Macey Wilson finished in 10th place in the one-mile race, crossing the line in 5:54.81. Jahlia McNealy marked the fastest time for Lindsey Wilson in the 60-meter sprint with a time of 8.14 to take 13th. Meredith Johnson was the lone Blue Raider to compete at the DePauw Invite in Greencastle, Indiana. Johnson won the 1000 Meter Run with the time of 3:06.83, finishing more than five seconds faster than the race's runner-up.
