Thomas (Tommy) O'Banion, 89, Greensburg, KY (1930-2020) Mr. Thomas "Tommy" O'Banion of Greensburg passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020. He was 89 years old. The funeral services for Mr. O'Banion will be conducted at 2pmCT on Saturday, February 15, 2020, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. David Bluford and Bro. Kevin Brantley officiating. Burial will follow in the Greensburg Cemetery. Visitation is requested after 10amCT on Saturday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until the time of the funeral service. Mr. Thomas "Tommy" O'Banion, of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late C.T. "Billy" O'Banion and Lorene Hazel O'Banion, was born on Saturday, September 6, 1930 in Green County and departed this life on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the Green Hill Rehab & Care Center in Greensburg. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a Builder, Real Estate Broker, and a Farmer. Survived by his wife of 66 years, Joann Bluford O'Banion of Greensburg having united in marriage on February 27, 1953. Memorial are suggested to the Cumberland Presbyterian Church or Hosparus of Green River, which can be made at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Gary Ferguson, Ken Ferguson, Lanny Tucker, Jeff McIntosh Honorary Pallbearers: Gleason Bloyd, Bill Bradshaw, Buddy Lowe Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
