East wind 5 to 9 mph. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain, and a flash food watch will be in effect from 2pmCT today until 6amCT on Thursday. Tonight will bring more rains, with storms that could produce heavy rainfall. The overnight low will be around 39F, with southeast wind 9 to 11 mph becoming west after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches are possible. Rain should taper off by mid-day Thursday, leaving cloudy skies and a high near 42F.
