Lindsey Wilson Football announces 2020 signing class By Chris Wells Lindsey Wilson football coach Chris Oliver announced the 2020 Blue Raider signing class this afternoon. "This is a great day for the Blue Raider football program," Oliver said. "When we bring young men and their families onto campus and they experience our culture first-hand, this becomes a very powerful tool as they go through the recruiting process. The hard work invested by our student-athletes on and off the field over the past decade has helped to create this type of environment, and they get a lot of the credit for today. "Our assistant coaches have put a lot of time and effort into this group of young men, and we're really excited about what lies ahead for this class," Oliver added. "The future of Blue Raider football is very bright. I'd also like to thank the faculty and staff at Lindsey Wilson College who put in great work behind the scenes to help us with our recruiting efforts. I'm a firm believer that you win with people, and we're blessed with great people here at LWC." Lindsey Wilson completed the best season in the program's 10-year history in 2019. The Blue Raiders finished with a 12-1 record, reaching the program's first-ever NAIA Football Championship Series National Semifinals. The Blue Raiders ended the 2019 season ranked No. 4 in the NAIA Football Coaches' Top-25 Postseason Poll. To learn more about the 2020 signing class, follow @LWC_Football on Twitter.
