Alice Lee Pettit Bryant, 66, Green Co., KY (1953-2020)

Alice Lee Pettit Bryant of the Grab Community passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020. She was 66 years old.

The funeral services for Alice Lee Pettit Bryant will be conducted at 1pmCT on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at the Old Path Baptist Church, 23 JT Russell Rd, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the New Salem Cemetery. Bro. Mickey Pruitt and Bro. Adam Pruitt will be officiating.

Visitation is requested after 9:30amCT on Saturday at the Old Path Baptist Church until time for the funeral service.


Alice Lee Pettit Bryant of the Grab Community of Green County, daughter of the late John Pettit and Ella Wooldridge Pettit, was born on Wednesday, February 11, 1953 in Green County and departed this life on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. She was 66 years, 11 months, and 19 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Old Path Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Survived by her husband of 49 years, Clarence Wayne Bryant of the Grab Community, having united in marriage on July 19, 1970.

Other survivors include a sister: Betty Jean "Jeanie" Moran of Buffalo; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Bryant was also preceded in death by four sisters: Wanda Lou Whitlow, Brenda Sue Helm, Willie Frances Pettit, and Fredia Ann Kingrey.

Pallbearers: John Whitlow, Noel Warf, Dennis Bryant, Richard Jeffries, Kerry Patterson, Jeff Patterson

Honorary Pallbearers: Vernon Howard "Doc" Petty, Marion Petty
