Taylor School District closed for rest of the week By Larry J Smith, 99.9 The Big Dawg Taylor County School District will not be in session for the remainder of the week, Wednesday, January 29th through Friday, January 31st, 2020 due to widespread sickness. Hopefully this will keep the sickness from spreading and give our students and staff members time to heal. We will also use this time for our school staff to thoroughly sanitize our schools. We encourage parents and guardians to wash coats and backpacks as well. Students will need to complete Cyber Days two, three, and four. Cyber work can be found in the Cyber Day Folders or online. Questions regarding Cyber work should be directed to your child's teacher. We will be serving hot food for families in need. More information will be available tomorrow via radio stations and social media regarding time and location. Nurses will be available from 8am - 3pmET Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at the Hub of the primary center/ intermediate school/middle school. Walk-ins welcome or you can make an appointment by calling 270-849-3656. If you have any questions or need assistance, please call the Board of Education at 270-465-5371.
