LWC Men and Women's tennis releases 2020 schedule By Grace Blomstedt The schedule for the upcoming 2020 season for the Lindsey Wilson men and women's tennis programs was released by head coach Suresh Ramamurthi on Friday. A total of 17 matches are scheduled to be played in the regular season including 10 home matches and a late-season tournament at Indiana Wesleyan in Marion, Indiana. The teams kick-off the season with Mid-South Conference action against Shawnee State (OH) on Feb. 22 in Portsmouth, Ohio. The Blue Raiders return home to the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex for four non-conference match-ups over the stretch of Feb. 26-March 13. Lindsey Wilson hosts Brescia (KY), Martin Methodist (TN), Louisiana State-Alexandria and William Woods (MO) during the home-stint. The teams will travel to Barbourville, Ky. to play Union (KY) on March 15 before returning home to host Marian (IN) on March 18. Lindsey Wilson will resume MSC play at home against Pikeville (KY) on March 21 and Cumberland (TN) on March 22. The Blue Raiders conclude MSC competition against Cumberlands (KY) on Apr. 8 at Henry Baughman Tennis Complex. Postseason play is scheduled to begin with the Mid-South Conference Tournament from Apr. 17-19 at Center Court in Owensboro, Kentucky. The NAIA Tennis National Championships are scheduled for May 12-16 at Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Alabama.
