John 'Bam' Carney's family shares positive news

Larry Smith, 99.9 The Big Dawg, sends this update from Kentucky House Majority Floor Leader John "Bam" Carney's family:

"The surgeon said he thinks he is better today than he was yesterday. So we continue to pray for small improvements daily such as he can move more of his fingers now and starting last night has more movement of his head from side to side.

"He is somewhat anxious with multiple drains/lines coming out of his stomach area but overall is more calm and relaxed than we may have originally thought he might be.

"We continue to pray that the meds work on the bacteria and fungus in his body. We got another slogan yesterday.

"University of Kentucky president Eli Capilouto stopped by and was able to briefly talk to Bam and visit with us. When signing one of the poster boards that we have for Bam he said "UK says Bounce back Bam! You are in our hearts & prayers for strength and return to good health."

"We all really liked that slogan #BouncebackBam but our favorite throughout these 30 days and in the days to come is and will be #God'sGloryoverBam!

"Thank you for your continued prayers, support and encouragement!! We appreciate each of you very much."
