ACSO: Injury collision sends two to hospital By Sheriff Josh Brockman Adair County Sheriff's Office On Monday, January 20, 2020, at 9:52amCT, Sheriff's Deputy Chandler Staten was dispatched by Adair County 911 to a two-vehicle collision approximately 7 miles west of Columbia on KY 80. Preliminary investigation shows that 18-year-old James Kelsay, of Columbia, was operating a 1990 Dodge truck west on Edmonton Road when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck Diane Haynes, 70, also of Columbia. Haynes was operating a 2013 Honda SUV East on Edmonton Road. Haynes' vehicle then left the roadway and struck an earth embankment. Both Kelsay and Haynes were treated on scene by Adair County EMS and then transported to TJ Health Columbia. The Adair County Sheriff's Office is continuing the investigation.
