Jodie Wilkinson, 76, Casey County, KY (1943-2020)

Jodie Wilkinson of Lower Brush Creek Road, Liberty, KY passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020, at his home. He was 76 years of age.

Funeral services will be held at 12noonCT/1pmET Thursday, January 23, 2020, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Brother Bearl King officiating. Per Jodie’s wishes, cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be from 10-1 prior to the service.



Born January 23, 1943 in Casey County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Luil and Margie Webber Wilkinson. Jodie was a farmer and truck driver. He loved animals, enjoyed fishing, and working on lawnmowers in his spare time.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Kathy Callinan Wilkinson, of Liberty, whom he wed on July 3, 2003; two sons, Darrell Mondie and Ralph (Rachel) Mondie; two daughters, Jeannie Mondie and Tammy Barber, all of Liberty; nine grandchildren, William, Ryan, Desaray, Kandice, Allison, Anakin, Riley, Adrianna, and Brittany; and four great-grandsons.

In addition to his parents, Jodie was preceded in death by two sisters, Bernice Woodrum and Julia Holtzclaw.

McKinney-Brown Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
