Letter: Someone needs you

Billy Joe Fudge writes:
Sue and Gretchen were right on with their advice. That "get up, get out and get happy" was great counsel!

Several years ago, I found myself not wanting to get up and get at'm each morning as in the past. One morning the words, "someone needs you" rang like a bell in my mind and heart. These were not just random words but the title of a song written by my Great Aunt Lucy Parrish. Aunt Lucy was a sister to my Great Uncles Larue and Kay Jessie who most folks around town remember well, my Grandmother Emma Jessie Fudge and the Mother of Cousin Audrey Parrish and of course, Cousin Garon Parrish of the Jeffries' Hardware Employee Hall of Fame.

Aunt Lucy was a great and caring Christian woman and the words of her song who Mary Anna Campbell set to music have continued to ring encouragement into those mornings when I might be feeling a bit like hiding inside the house rather than scouring the countryside for, someone who needs me!

Now, as to your car key conundrum, I have no idea about that which you speak. Mine are always in my pocket, in my vehicle or in their proper place in "my" drawer! --BJF
