Letter: Thanks to readers for more of the story Scott Spires writes: Was surprised and pleased Wadlow's visit to Columbia is remembered and shared. Especially to younger people who probably didn't know about this part of Columbia history. Also Wadlow was so big the passenger side front seat of the car he rode in was removed where he could sit in the back seat. Peters shoe company was bought out by International Shoe Company.
