Letter: Hurts the innocent

Theresa Ingermann writes:
Not all people that have "run-ins" with law enforcement are guilty when trashing them online or in the paper only hurts the innocent. Have you ever been in a situation where you are absolutely innocent but have to prove it in court? You are not innocent until proven guilty it is the opposite of that. Until you have been through that you will never know the feeling of looking at everyone in a court room knowing what was being said about you were all lies but until you drag it out to trial you can not prove your innocence. No one listens to you or your attorney. Think about it. Really, stop and think about it. --Theresa
