Charles posts national A-standard qualifying time

Lexington, KY - Jean Charles posted a national A-standard qualifying time to lead the Lindsey Wilson men's indoor track & field team at the University of Kentucky Jingle Bells Open on Friday at the Nutter Fieldhouse.

Charles posted a fourth place finish in the 60-meter hurdles at a time of 8.21 seconds, which was 0.02 seconds faster than the national A-standard limit of 8.23 seconds.

Several Blue Raiders just missed national cuts on Friday at the Invitational.



Notable misses included Dorian Moton posting a time of 7.02 seconds in the 60-meter dash which just missed the national B-standard time of 6.93 seconds. In the 60-meter hurdles, Ahumad Williams finished with a time of 8.85 seconds, also barley missing the national-B standard time of 8.38 seconds.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Saturday, January 11th, as the Blue Raiders travel back to Lexington, Kentucky to compete in the University of Kentucky Invite.
