CES students drawing turkeys in their art class

By Calen McKinney

Campbellsville Elementary School students are drawing turkeys in their art class.

In Adrienne Hash's class, students recently listened to the book "A Turkey for Thanksgiving" by Eve Bunting.

In the story, Mr. and Mrs. Moose invite all their friends over for Thanksgiving dinner, but they can't find Turkey.

Turkey soon realizes that his friends just want him to eat Thanksgiving dinner with them, and not be their meal.

As an activity, Hash asked her students to draw Turkey and the signs he might put outside his home to keep people from finding him and making him their Thanksgiving dinner.
