Former DQ and Dickies to become newest Cook Out

The hamburger chain, Cook Out, is coming soon to the Columbia location which was once Dairy Queen and then Dickies BBQ on Jamestown Street.

According to Columbia Mayor Pamela Hoots, Cook Out anticipates a spring 2020 opening. It has been in business for 28 years after starting in North Carolina. They are also currently working on a new location in Campbellsville.

We have it on good authority that it's a good place to go for quick, basic burgers and shakes. The menu includes burgers, chicken, corn dogs, barbecue, quesadillas, and approximately 50 flavors of milkshakes.

Hoots says, "We are pleased that they are locating in Columbia."
