OCC National Collection Week

National Collection Week for Operation Christmas Child begins today, Monday, November 18, 2019, and runs through Monday, November 25, 2019. We are hoping to collect as many shoebox gifts to send to children and families in need as possible. If you need more information on how to get involved simply call 270-634-2919.

Once again the Columbia First Church of the Nazarene Wheet Fellowship Hall located at 1200 Jamestown Street, Columbia, KY, will be the drop off location for Adair County. The dates and times for drop off are as follows:
  • Monday, November 18 5pmCT to 7pmCT
  • Tuesday, November 19 11:30amCT to 1:30pmCT
  • Wednesday November 20 5pmCT to 7pmCT
  • Thursday, November 21 9amCT to 11amCT
  • Friday, November 22 10amCT to 12pmCT
  • Saturday, November 23 9amCT to 11amCT
  • Sunday, November 24 2pmCT to 4pmCT
  • Monday, November 25 9amCT to 11amCT

OCC 2019: CBC Packing Party

Members of the Columbia Baptist Church participated in their annual OCC packing party Sunday night. The Church hopes to pack more than 500 shoe box gifts for children and families in need around the world.

OCC 2019: Drop off center ribbon cutting

The Operation Christmas Child Processing Center located at the Columbia First Church of the Nazarene Wheet Fellowship Hall held the ribbon cutting ceremony Monday afternoon at 5pmCT.

The Columbia Baptist Church held their annual OCC packing party Sunday night. Lee Jessie Alycia Delaplane, Valerie Jackson, Camden Streeval, Emma Grider, and Lee Grider were busy packing boxes and putting labels on them as well.

Ralph Jackson, Ed Hadley, and Matt Jackson were busy placing go boxes in cartons at the CBC packing party. Boxes in Adair County can be dropped off at the Wheet Fellowship Hall located at 1200 Jamestown St. National collection week for OCC ends Monday, November 25.
