ACSO: vehicle over embankment results in arrest

From the Office of Adair County Sheriff Josh Brockman

On 11-11-19 at 5:09pmCT Deputy Josh Durbin was traveling on Quinn Hollow Road when he observed headlights over an embankment.

Upon stopping to investigate it was found that Jose Gonzales, 46, of Adair County was operating a 2004 Hyundai and lost control of the vehicle.



Gonzales was treated and released from TJ Health Columbia where he was taken into custody by the Sheriffs Office on charges of:

- operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol / drugs

- no drivers license

- possession of open alcoholic container in vehicle.

He was lodged in the Adair County Regional by K-9 Deputy Josh Durbin.
Note: An arrest is not a finding of guilt. An individual placed under arrest is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
