LWC Women's cross country finishes 6th at MSC Championships

Bowling Green, KY - The Lindsey Wilson women's cross country team finished sixth of nine teams in the 2019 Mid-South Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning.

The Blue Raiders finished with a team score of 133 points. Sophomore Meredith Johnson led the team with a 13th place finish, earning MSC second-team honors with a time of 19 minutes and 57.4 seconds.



Laura Cuin-Casimiro finished with a time of 20:24.2 to finish 16th. Dezare Jackson crossed the finish line in 21:10.1 while Kayla Roeder ran a time of 21:31.2. Macey Wilson finished in 21:36.6 and Kaylee Masden recorded a time of 21:54.9.

Kirsten Crepps posted a time of 22:28.1 while Elsa Diaz crossed the finish line with a time of 22:35.5 to round out the Blue Raider competitors.

Shawnee State took home the gold with a team score of 46 points.

NAIA National Championships for women's cross country will take play November 23 in Vancouver, Washington.
