Ricky Dale Thompson, 61, Green County, KY (1958-2019) Ricky Dale Thompson departed this life Thursday, November 7, 2019 having attained the age of sixty-one years and seventeen days. Funeral service will be held at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home at 2pmCT Saturday, November 9, 2019. Visitation will be from 11amCT until time of the service. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Johnathan Willis will be officiating. Pallbearers will be: Craig Whitlock, Dale Thompson, Leonard Burton, Jagger Thompson, Kaine Murphy, Justin Thompson, Arvil Martin, and Christian Rogers. He was born October 20, 1958 in Taylor County, KY to Bernice Martin Thompson of Greensburg and the late William Frank Thompson. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. He worked as a bookkeeper at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg. Besides his father, he is preceded in death by one brother: William Thompson and one nephew: Ryan Thompson. He is survived by his mother: Bernice Martin Thompson, nephew: Dale Thompson of Summersville, special friends: Brenda Judd, Mary Posey, Aleicia Posey, Martha Price, Myrna Quisenberry and Craig Whitlock.
