LWC Volleyball to conclude regular season against Thomas More By Grace Blomstedt The No. 10-ranked Lindsey Wilson volleyball team concludes its regular season against Thomas More (Ky.) on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at 6pmCT at the Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, Kentucky. The Blue Raiders (25-5, 13-2) return to action after picking up a three-set sweep over Mid-South Conference opponent Georgetown (Ky.) on November 4. Lindsey Wilson posted a .220 hitting percentage while limiting Georgetown to .091. Elly Burke earned a double-double with 12 digs and a team-high 11 kills. Lauren Larzelere led all players with 14 digs in the contest. Peyton Johnston tallied three service aces in the match. Lindsey Wilson continues to lead the Mid-South Conference in hitting percentage with .234 which ranks 16th in the NAIA. The Blue Raiders average 12.61 kills, 1.92 blocks, and 16.97 digs per set. Kasia Niderla continues to lead the nation in hitting percentage with .412 while accumulating 435 kills this season, which ranks second in the MSC and 15th in the NAIA. Also contributing more than 200 kills this season are Alexis Smith (274) and Burke (238). Camryn Rich and Autumn Proctor have accounted for 539 and 462 assists, respectively. Five Lindsey Wilson players have tallied triple digit-digs, led by Larzelere's 423 followed by Johnston with 344. Thomas More (22-6, 13-2 MSC) is back in action after picking up a three-set win last night over Campbellsville (Ky.). The Saints lead the MSC in kills (13.2), assists (12.3), and service aces (2.0) per set. Thomas More's offense is paced by setters Lizzie Schoenfeld and Madison Read with 516 and 473 assists, respectively. Emily Mohs leads the offensive effort with 3.76 kills per set. Jenna Mummert leads the conference in aces per set thanks to her 47 total aces.
