By Jaylin Cox

On October 30 and October 31, 2019, Taylor County FFA members traveled to Indianapolis, Indiana to the 92nd National FFA Convention. The members in attendance were Ryan Underwood, Hunter Miller, Sarah Beard, Jaylin Cox, Kenzie Sprowles, Mayci Hafley, and Hannah Keith. Members had the opportunity to go to workshops, engaging sessions, listened to keynote speakers, and network with more than 70,000 FFA members from across the nation.

The highlight of the trip was being recognized for being a National Three Star Chapter in the National FFA Chapter Contest. Taylor County FFA is one of eight three star chapters in Kentucky. The three star rating is the highest rating that the National FFA Organization awards.
