Showers, falling temps today, 40's by late afternoon

It's currently 51F at the Adair County Mesonet station. Expect showers today, mainly before 3pmCT, with the temperature falling to around 41F by 5pmCT. Light and variable wind becoming north 6 to 11 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

There's a 20 percent chance of showers before 7pmCT. Otherwise it should be cloudy during the early evening, then gradually clear, with an overnight low around 22F. North wind 7 to 13 mph.

Friday will be sunny but colder, with the high for the day just reaching 41F, and north wind 6 to 9 mph.

Friday night will be Mostly clear, with a low around 22F again. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
