Christmas in Columbia, Breakfast to Santa to Parade, is 7 Dec The annual Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce Christmas in Columbia “Lights over Columbia” will be held all day long on Saturday, December 7, 2019. Events begin with the special community breakfast and go on all day long through the Parade at 6pmCT. Plus there will be a beautiful Journey to the Manger experience over three days before, during and after Christmas in Columbia. Edgar Troutman Memorial Rotary Breakfast will be from 6:30-9:30amCT in the Columbia Baptist Church, $5/Person. Christmas Carnival will be held inside the LWC Holloway Health and Wellness Center from 1-4pmCT. Arts & Crafts’ vendors, children’s crafts, Christmas stories, Inflatables, and many other children’s activities. Santa arrives at the Holloway Center at 1:30pmCT and will stay through 3:30pmCT. **(Have children there before 1:30 because Santa and Mrs. Santa have to leave at 3:30 for the parade) Christmas in Columbia Parade will be held at 6pmCT with Grand Marshal Jody Richards, Columbia native and former Kentucky Speaker of the House. Entrants must register with the Chamber of Commerce. The annual Lighting of the Christmas Tree will take place at 6:15pmCT. The tree is provided and decorated by ACHS FFA. Journey to the Manger will be held December 6, 7 and 8 from 6-9pmCT at 2300 Milltown Road. (From Columbia take North HWY 61 toward Greensburg, drive 6 miles, turn left onto HWY 768 (Milltown Road), drive 2.3 miles (One mile drive through – Entrance will be marked). for additional information call the chamber office at 270-384-6020.
