Terry James Thorpe, 59, Taylor Co., KY (1960-2019) Terry James Thorpe of Elk Horn passed away on Monday, October 28, 2019. He was 59 years old. The funeral service for Terry James Thorpe will be Saturday, November 2, 2019, at 2pmET in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd., Campbellsville, KY, with burial to follow in the Liberty Cemetery on Hwy 744 in Taylor County. The family requests visitation from 5pmET until 8pmET on Friday at the funeral home. Terry James Thorpe, the son of the late Bobby and Doris Marie (Perkins) Deering, was born Monday, June 13, 1960 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Monday, October 28, 2019 at his home in Elk Horn. He was 59 years, 4 months and 16 days of age. He was a former concrete worker and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He also enjoyed hunting, riding four wheelers, making people laugh and a mentor. He is survived by his wife: Linda (Marcum) Thorpe of Elk Horn; a son: Jeffrey Glover of Campbellsville; two daughters: Michelle Dawn Glover-Thorpe of Greensburg and Rebecca Renee Underwood of Elk Horn; a sister: Connie Gullett and companion: Bill Laubheimer of Fisherville; a son: Michael Perkins and wife Annette of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Cody, Jasmine, Blake, Lyric and Kaleb; his aunt and uncle: Ruth and Ollie Tungate of Campbellsville and a host of other relatives and friends.
