LWC Volleyball travels to Campbellsville Tuesday By Grace Blomstedt The No. 10-ranked Lindsey Wilson volleyball team travels to Campbellsville, Ky. to play Campbellsville (KY) on Tuesday, October 29 at 6pmCT at the Powell Athletic Center, 203 Tiger Way Campbellsville, KY. The Blue Raiders (23-5, 11-2) are back in action after picking up a Mid-South Conference three-set sweep against Cumberland (TN) October 24. Lindsey Wilson held Cumberland to an even .000 hitting percentage while producing a .267 percentage of its own. Four Blue Raiders posted double-digit digs in the match while Alexis Smith led offensively with 11 kills. Mariana Pratali recorded seven block assists to lead the blocking effort. Lindsey Wilson continues to lead the Mid-South Conference in hitting percentage with .233 which ranks 16th in the NAIA. The Blue Raiders rank second in the MSC in kills per set (12.6) behind Thomas More (Ky.). Kasia Niderla still leads the nation in hitting percentage (.418) while accounting for 4.23 kills per set for LWC. Smith and Burke contribute averages of 2.99 and 2.28 kills per set to make up the main Blue Raider attack. Lauren Larzelere averages just under four (3.99) digs per game to lead the defense. Campbellsville (16-14, 4-9 MSC) is back in action after defeating Cumberland (Tenn.) last Tuesday in a five-set encounter. Campbellsville ranks third in the conference in service aces per set with 1.7. The Tigers average 18.2 digs per set, ranking second in the MSC. Jamie Thompson leads the team's defensive effort with a conference-high 5.7 digs per set. Sonia Flendrich and Sutton Mason lead the Tiger offense this season with 284 and 247 kills, respectively.
