LWC Women's Swimming falls to Life 122-120 By Grace Blomstedt Lindsey Wilson women's swimming fell to Life (Ga.) 122-20 this afternoon at the Holloway Center Natatorium. The Blue Raiders posted four first-place finishes, five national A standard times, and five B cut standard times. Jessica Macdonald claimed three individual victories to lead the Blue Raiders. Nissrine Bourbouh picked up the other win in the 1000-yard freestyle by touching the wall in 12 minutes 7.76 seconds. Macdonald's first victory of the day was in the 200-yard free style with an A-cut time of 2:01.58. Macdonald's A standard time of 4:51.46 was good enough to win the 400-yard individual medley. Narjiss Bourbouh and Sarah Hahn recorded times of 5:05.39 and 5:07.36, respectively, to earn national B standard times. Macdonald recorded an A standard time and a first-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle by touching the wall in 54.03. Carlene Taylor finished third in the event with a B-cut time of 56.49. Narjiss Bourbouh recorded a national A standard time of 2:19.26 in the 200-yard butterfly to claim second-place. Narjiss Bourbouh also placed second in the 100-yard butterfly with a B-cut time of 1:02.84. Annissa Koekemoer swam a B-cut time of 26.34 in the 50-yard freestyle to earn second-place. The final Lindsey Wilson national qualifying A standard came from the 200-yard freestyle relay. The quartet of Natalie Lohman, Nissrine Bourbouh, Koekemoer, and Taylor posted a time of 1:44.17 to finish second while earning the national standard.
