ACSO: East 80 Head-on collision

On Thursday, October 24, 2019, the Adair County Sheriff's Office responded to the 5900 Block of Russell Springs Road, for a two-vehicle head-on collision.

A preliminary investigation determined that a 2015 Chevy Cruze traveling East, operated by Kassondra Sanford, 20, of Russell Springs, collided head-on with a 2012 Kia Soul traveling West, operated by Bradley Whitehead, 32, also of Russell Springs.



It was determined Whitehead crossed the center line and struck Sanford. Impaired Operator is believed to be a determining factory of the collisions.

Deputy Derek Padgett is continuing the investigation.
