ACSO: Adair Co. man arrested for theft of ATV

On Tuesday, October 1, 2019, the Adair County Sheriff's Office was received information that a Honda 4-wheeler that had been stolen from the Chance community in Adair County.

On Thursday, October 3, 2019, Sheriff Josh Brockman located the ATV at a residence on Independence Ridge in the Breeding community. The ATV was seized by Sheriff Brockman and returned to its owners.

Chief Deputy Justin Cross was able to determine through investigation that Justin Bledsoe, 26, of Adair County was in possession of the ATV the previous day. A warrant was sworn out for the arrest of Bledsoe.



On Sunday, October 20, 2019, Sheriff's Deputy Dereck Padgett received information about Bledsoe's location, and Padgett was able to take Bledsoe into custody on the warrant for the theft and an outstanding warrant for his arrest from Adair District Court.

Chief Deputy Justin Cross is continuing the investigation.
