LWC Men's XC finish 2nd at St. Louis Fall Classic

St. Louis, MO - The Lindsey Wilson men's cross country team finished in second place of eight teams at the St. Louis Classic this afternoon.

The Blue Raiders scored 45 points, falling behind team champion William Carey (Miss.) who finished with 36 points.

Jim Headrick had the top finish for the Blue Raiders with a time of 26 minutes and 33.1 seconds, securing 4th place in the 66 competitor event.



Jordan Tucker recorded a time of 27:04.1 to secure an 8th place finish, while Jonathon Long trailed behind in 9th place with a time of 27:17.3. Levi Owens was the fourth Blue Raider to cross the finish line at a time of 27:32.5 and a 10th place finish.

Victor Clark recorded a time of 28:01.8, while Austin Mattingly notched a finishing time of 28:24.7. Federico Diaz finished the race with a time of 28:36.0, Noah Brown crossed the finish line in at 28:47.7, and Mason Stogsdill finished with a final time of 29:36.1

The Blue Raiders return to action on Saturday, November 9th where they will race in the Mid-South Conference Championships in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
