Green Co. Grand Jury returns indictments Wed 16 Oct 2019

Indictments brought against 10 individuals from Greensburg, Magnolia, and Elizabethtown, KY, on charges including possession, trafficking, sexual abuse, burglary, assault, and terroristic threatening.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Green County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Greensburg, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Wednesday, 16 October 2019:


  • Mark Lobb, Summersville Coakley Road, Greenburg, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00053. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, methamphetamine. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Steven M. Sidebottom, Douglas Alley, Elizabethtown, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00054. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in marijuana, less than 8oz, 2nd offense, while in possession of a firearm. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Possession of controlled sbustance, 3rd degree, drug unspecified. Count 4 - Controlled substance, prescription not in original container, 1st offense. Bond set at $2,000 cash.

  • William Barfield, Chestnut Ridge Road, Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00055. Charged with 16 counts. Counts 1-2 - Unlawful transaction with minor, 1st, illegal sex act victim under 16 YOA, physical injury. Counts 3-9 - Incest, forcible compulsion/incapable of consent or under 18 years of age. Counts 10-15 - Unlawful transaction with a minor, 1st, illegal sex act victim under 16 YOA. Count 16 - Sexual abuse 1st degree. Bond set at $25,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Michael J. Townsend, Marshall Ridge Road, Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00056. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Sexual abuse, 1st degree, victim under 12 years of age. Bond set at $5,000 cash, no contact with victim.

  • Mark K. Underwood, N. McCullum Ave., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00057. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Tampering with physical evidence. Count 2 - Drug paraphernalia, buy/possess. Count 3 - Possession of controlled substance, 2nd degree, drug unspecified. Count 4 - Controlled substance prescription not in original container 1st offense. Bond set at $5,000 unsecured, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Lloyd R. Davis, McCullum Ave., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00058. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Intimidating a participant in a legal process. Count 2 - Assault, 4th degree, domestic violence, minor injury. Count 3 - Terroristic threatening, 3rd degree. Count 4 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $2,500 cash, no contact with victims.

  • Lloyd R. Davis, McCullum Ave., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00059. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Intimidating a participant in legal process. Count 2 - Terroristic threatening. Count 3 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $1,500 cash, no contact with victims.

  • Dometric D. Jones, Highway 936, Magnolia, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00060-001. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Bond set at $1,000 USB, no contact with victim.

  • Christopher M. Lovan, Sandridge Rd., Magnolia, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00060-002. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Bond set at $10,000/10%, no contact with victim.

  • Harry A. Brown, Sand Ridge Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00061. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Burglary, 2nd degree. Same bond as 19-CR-00064.

  • Tyron Vanarsdale Indictment No. 19-CR-00062. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Fleeing or evading the police, 1st degree, motor vehicle. Count 2 - Wanton endangerment. Bond set at $1,500 cash.

  • Harry A. Brown, Sand Ridge Rd., Magnolia, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00063. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Fleeing or evading police, 2nd degree, on foot. Count 3 - Resisting arrest. Count 4 - Criminal mischief, 3rd degree. Count 5 - Criminal trespassing, 3rd degree. Same bond as in 19-CR-00064.

  • Harry A. Brown, Sand Ridge Rd., Magnolia, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00064. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Bond set at $25,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Harry A. Brown, Sand Ridge Rd., Magnolia, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00065. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property under $10,000. Count 2 - Receiving stolen property under $10,000. Count 3 - Theft of motor vehicle registration plate. Count 4 - Fleeing or evading police, 2nd degree, on foot. Count 5 - Criminal mischief, 3rd degree. Same bond as 19-CR-00064.
