Kenny Dale Jewell, 66, Green County, KY

Kenny Dale Jewell of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of Everett Redell Jewell of Campbellsville and the late Eva Doris Matney Jewell, was born on Wednesday, October 7, 1953 in Green County and departed this life on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at his home. He was 66 years, and six days of age.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3pmCT Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Bro. Robert Adkins officiating. Visitation is requested after 8amCT Tuesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service.

PALLBEARERS: Zach Jewell, Carrington Jewell, Chad Heath, Tim Darnell, Greg Gupton, Allen Bauder, Stevie McGuffin, and W.D. Chaney.



He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Maple Hill United Methodist Church. He was employed with USDA AMS Tobacco Division as a tobacco grader.

Besides his father, Kenny is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kathy Bauder Jewell, of Greensburg, having united in marriage on February 14, 1986.

Other survivors include a daughter-in-law: Chasity Hodges Jewell of Green County; two grandchildren: Zach Jewell and Carrington Jewell both of Greensburg; mother-in-law: Winnie Crump of Campbellsville; two step-sisters: Kim Curry and her husband, Stan, Keisha Ellis and her husband, David all of Campbellsville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Allen Bauder, and Candy Barron both of Greensburg; step-nephew: Jack Ellis of Campbellsville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Jewell was also preceded in death by his son: Keith Douglas Jewell on August 23, 2019; step-mother: Beula Nell Jewell; and father-in-law: Allen Bauder.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Sons of the American Legion, which can be made at the funeral home.

The Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
