LWC Men's XC finishes 11th in Jenna Strong Fall Classic

Wilmington, OH - The Lindsey Wilson men's cross country team finished 11th of 36 teams at the Jenna Strong Fall Classic this afternoon.

The Blue Raiders scored 335 points to edge out Berea (Ky.) and Kenyon (Ohio) who recorded 336 points apiece.


Levi Owens had the top finish for the Blue Raiders with a time of 26 minutes and 8.2 seconds, securing 24th place in the 363 competitor event.

Jim Headrick finished second for Lindsey Wilson and 60th overall with a time of 27:05.3. Jordan Tucker crossed the finish line in 27:37.3.

Victor Clark recorded a time of 27:59.8. Federico Diaz-Morales finished with in 28:21.2. Jonathon Long crossed the line with a time of 28:50.9.

Noah Brown crossed the line in 29:06.7 and Harley Waters finished in 29:09.3. Austin Mattingly recorded a time of 29:36.2. Mason Stogsdill finished the race in 29:37.8. Joshua Murdock ran in 32:27.0.

Ohio State finished in first with a team score of 31 points.

The Blue Raiders return to action on Saturday, October 19 at the St. Louis Fall Classic.
