Band of Brothers joins Adair Heritage Association at Rosenwald

By Mike Watson, President
Adair Heritage Association

Saturday, October 5, 2019 is the second work day for the Flatwoods' Rosenwald one-room school. Start time is at 7am - or as soon as you can come out.

The Band of Brothers and other volunteers will be there early to begin another day of renovation on the historic Adair County school.

Bobby Morrison reported, "Bobby Bowe and Rodney White have been, and are still working, on the Rosenwald School all Friday afternoon, finishing up getting siding replaced, nailed down and ready to paint the outside tomorrow - our main goal."

He said there are still several other things to do but not as pushing as this.

Rodney and Donna White did an excellent job of painting walls in the main room and will paint the coat rooms later.

Please come out to see what is going on, get involved, and make a difference in the history of your county and town.

The Band of Brothers is doing great work in our community and need your continued support and encouragement. Hope to see you there! - MW
