HISTORY: Chicken Thieves Put On Notice By Mike Watson Adair County Historian Chicken thieves in the Big Windy neighborhood had better be careful or they will carry off a pound or two of shot. Parties in that neighborhood know pretty well who they are, and are tired of their pilfering. Deputy Collector Nell went into the Big Windy section last Sunday.
